Polomie Lodge incorporates four buildings which surround landscaped gardens and swimming pool. Our house – 'Polomie Lodge' is situated in the village of Ivanovo, 18km from the city of Rousse.
1st building – The main house Beautiful house which sleeps up to eight people and has been refurbished to excellent standards, whilst keeping the Bulgarian traditional appearance.
2nd building – The bungalow Suitable for a couple, or family or four/ five. We offer a bright and modern bungalow for holiday accommodation fully equipped to provide luxury and comfort, French doors lead to garden, eating and swimming pool area.
3rd building – Two further rooms Lovely newly bedrooms with en-suite bathroom facilities overlooking garden and pool area
4th building – Cafe bar Serving breakfast/ snacks/ evening dinner. Home made cakes and pastries We invite you to sample traditional and European cuisine prepared to your requirements.
Who are we? We are Kath and Allen Maher and we come from England. In 2005 we decided to move to Bulgaria, and now run our small business. We have been overwhelmed by the hospitality and generosity of the Bulgarian people, and remain fascinated by the breathtaking countryside, traditions and culture. Although the country itself is swiftly adapting to change, throughout the villages you will still encounter people riding donkey and cart to work, eating homegrown fruit and vegetables, homemade cheeses, yogurts, and jam. Bulgaria offers a wealth of history and folklore, and we are sure you will have a very enjoyable and memorable visit.
